The equipment of football is very simple, and all you need is some open space and a ball to play with. A game cannot be played alone so you will also need a few friends. It is one of the most popular sports played by people all over the world because of its simplicity. As far as the game is concerned, playing football needs energy as you have to be in constant action, running across the field to score a goal with the ball.

If you are interested in making a formal team and playing football, there is some basic equipment required which is generally easily affordable. Any kind of kick balls can be used for playing football, but a regular ball meant particularly for football is easier and safer to play with.

Spiked shoes called cleats that fit in snugly should be worn during play as it gives the feet a better grip. Shin guards are a protective measure against possible injury and kicks. Goalkeepers can wear gloves for protection of finger joints and palms.

Official games need a uniform like the regular cotton jersey, shorts and knee length socks. There is some unaffordable equipment, but these are optional and shouldn’t stop you from enjoying playing the game.

You can view the results of your favourite team online so never lose track of your teams progress.
